Science practicals are screwwwwwww.

oh whatever. anyway, im reading some stuff from this discovery channel site. kinda freaky after reading them. just some short extract from parts all over the place.

Unexplained Forces.
"Russian housewife, Nina Kulagina became famous in the 1960s because of her psychokinetic powers. Kulagina caused several small objects, including a wedding ring and a bottle to move across a table. Precautions were taken to ensure that Nina wasn’t using hidden magnets or threads and scientists confirmed no force could explain the movements."

The sprit world

"In 1700’s Boston, America a young Englishman wrote to his friend in England about the whereabouts of his brother. Three days earlier he had seen the apparition of his brother appear in his bedroom with a bloodied napkin on his head and looking deathly pale. He knew something terrible had happened. Indeed it had, three days earlier his brother had been hit over the head with a poker and a fractured skull had caused his death. There was no other way that the Boston based brother could have known about his brother’s untimely death in England.

In certain villages in China it is believed that after the father dies they will appear 90 days afterwards to the next son. Indeed one son was so scared of his father’s return that he decided to take a plane flight with the hope that it would stop the visitation. However on visiting the toilet he noticed in the mirror, his father standing behind him for a few brief moments." > ha. the son is quite funny huh.

Invisibility

"One case from Ventura, California details how a housewife became invisible while sitting on her living room sofa. He husband began to search the house looking for her but could not see her. This lasted ten minutes before she became visible again, her husband was quite upset and thought she had been hiding." > sounds really out of the world thou

Most hunted places
The Queen Mary - The epicentre of the hauntings is the swimming pool. The ghosts of women dressed in old fashion bathing suits have been regularly reported. Trails of wet footsteps have also been seen, yet the pool has been drained. Every haunted location seems to have a white lady, and the Queen Mary is no exception. She can be seen in the Queen’s Salon dancing by herself in the shadows.

Woodchester Mansion - Woodchester Mansion is a Victorian mansion that was never completed and fully lived in. It was built by the freemason William Leigh and since his death in 1873 the Mansion has been the focus of investigations into its unusual symbology and hauntings.

Many sightings have been reported over the last two hundred years. In 1902 a local vicar saw a strange apparition at the gates to the mansion and a few years later a phantom horseman was also seen on the drive. But it is the Mansion itself that is the epicentre of hauntings.

From the Tall Man of the Chapel to the elemental in the cellar, the Mansion has some of the most fearsome ghosts in the England. Visitors have collapsed uncontrollably and been attacked by invisible forces. In the bathroom is the ghost of a man who often manifests to visitors as a floating head and nearby the ghost of an old woman likes to attack women by grabbing them in the dark.

Why the Mansion is so haunted no one knows for sure but one theory is that it stands on the site of three previous buildings and it is haunted by the ghosts of each of those structures.

Winchester Mansion - The Winchester Mystery Mansion stands over 4 stories, has 467 doorways, 47 fireplaces and 2 mirrors . The house contains many features that were utilised to trap or confuse spirits. There are doors that are small or lead nowhere and windows that look into other parts of the house. The Mansion maybe huge but there are only two mirrors in the whole place. This is because Sarah believed that ghosts were afraid of their own reflection.

After 39 years of managing the continual construction of the Mansion, Sarah passed away in her sleep aged 83 years old.

Many strange events have occurred over the years and they are still reported today. Psychics have visited the house and believe that many spirits wander the house, along with the ghost of Sarah Winchester! There have been many unusual encounters including footsteps, banging doors, strange voices and the famous cold spots. It is one of the most unusual if not haunted house in America.

There are a few more actually, but the picture there was freaky so i didnt dare to scroll up to copy. HA. these 3 are the... less freaky ones?
