THE PRESTIGE
absolutly MUST WATCH.
the whole plot makes u go WOW.
and i think the ending was GREAT !

decided to train this morning.
not good.
well, i didnt feel good in the water. felt like crap so yea.
swimming is... getting on my nerves nowadays. bleagh.
anw, went to toa payoh to have chi class.

so, me and dan headed off to watch movie while yilong had trng.

hello people.
im back to civilisation (:
but not in the best of moods i would say.
cus... i sorta miss obs? as in the atmosphere we had and stuff.
now sitting alone in front of the computer, listening to the typings of the keyboard & the sound of my fan. i feel so alone and weird. maybe tats why im feeling so. down? hahah. i dnt knw.

well, i was suppose to do the sec 3 course..
a 5 days program but due to too little people, we were given a choice before setting off
to join the sec 2s or to go back.
i am glad i didnt go back (:
although i was really disappointed the first day because i had to do the sec 2 course again and stuff.

HOWEVER,
we got yongkang again!
i got him last yr as my instructor as well. great guy (:
so. that got me quite happy !
oh. i was in LINCOLN (:
delfina, janice, yilong, peishan, huilin, kokhong, cody, ashwin, jason, bobby, nat, me davis and stan ! started off as people who hardly even say hi to each other in sch, to a grp that was really bonded and stuff. thank you for making this obs another memorable one !

and so, we started off the first day getting wet and wild !
kayaked for quite a journey [ much further than last yr's ]
i partnered mr davis! great partner :D
he was really strong so we were really fast and yilong+kokhong kept saying we had engine under our kayak. haha. they were dying la (:
halfway back to shore it started raining and looked like it was gna storm so we switched partner so as to get back faster. i partnered yilong while mr davis went with kokhong.
not bad. just tat team spirit wasnt there and we didnt really stick close to each other.
oh and that night, the grp from TJC were taking their food rations for their outdoor expedition [ the one the sec3s were suppose to do ]
and frankly, i was kinda upset cus we didnt get to go.
would talk more abt tt later (this is gna be a long post! :D )

2nd day.
morning PTs + silent flag rasings + games.
not too bad. saw many of my pri sch firends!
from rss : yahan, krystal, charlene, stephanie
from st anthony : CLAIRE! we haven seen each other for like 6 years and she recognised me! goshh. i was so shocked! and she definately changed ALOT.
so thats good. anw, we did rock climbing !
fun & challenging (:
nat was really good.
some of us did it blind folded (janice,nat and mr davis)
mr davis and nat climbed up without anyone helping. i was helpin jan by shouting to her.
plus..
trustfall!
much better teamwork shown today as compared to yst. yepp.
and.. today, the TJC were suppose to camp out but they didnt due to the haze, so, i wasnt that upset anymore and moreover, it has been raining pretty heavily these few days.. i was talking to janice.. maybe God allowed us to join the sec 2 at the very start to prevent disappoinment later on? Thank you (:
played some games in the dorm.
namely blow wind blow and the Dot game. wont elaborate cus i knw this is getting really draggy. you jst needa imagine.

3rd day
expedition day! jason and co. found two cute little puppies in the drain and saved it (:
they said they are gna send it to SPCA if no one adopts it ):
so sad.
yongkang alrdy has a dog tats like 14yrs old. so he say he cant adopt ):
anw. expedition started off quite okay.
until we had a water break where we were suppose to have an activity but well, due to some stuff, we had to walk all the way back to obs and start again =/
and yongkang was angry ):
had to find checkpoints and yilong and mr davis did great!

built our shelter..
cooked dinner !
wanted to cook porridge but it ended up as burnt rice.
lol. the sausages and baked beans were better.
after that.
we had to walk through the dark woods without any lights =/
stopped by a HOLE.
had to climb in one at a time and i was kinda scared cus u really cant see anything at all.
but we managed to help one another and get out (:
i think this phrase is very suitable for tt activity

shared about our highest and lowest point during the camp.
not bad. he shared abt the Journey of Success again. will type it our next time. this entry is too long man! hahah
eventually fell asleep in our shelter with poncho/ziplock bags as pillows.
poor guys. too many to fit under one shelter. some slept on poncho outside by the beach

day 4. the last day ):
woke up kinda early to pack our shelter and to boil water.

it was really high and i found it scary =/
the first step was really hard but after u step out. theres nth to can do right ?
haha. before tt we were made to think abt our commitment and shout it out to everyone before we jump. felt great (:
janice was the first and i think we braked too sudden causing her to hit her head on the rope and having rope burn on her forehead and her pimple to burst.
when she was off the rope.

ashwin : ah! janice! your head bleeding ! pain anot?
janice : huh?! bleeding? where? [touches forehead]
everyone else was also very concern
janice : AIYA. my pimple burst la !

hah. it was quite funny.
stanely got rope burn on his eyelid.
i was really scared up there =/
everything else was fine..
took a shorter route back and had to pack up our rooms and stuff.
managed to do everything very quickly.
lost quite a few items but it was alright.
bought a OBS shirt and got everyone to sign on it :D
rounded up everything and took a ferry back.

before i start on how much i miss obs,
one highlight!
kokhong taught mr davis valguraties!!! =D
super funny.

okay. so.. the whole thing was good.

didnt turn out to be what i expected it do be and i learnt many things,
the whole camp allowed me to learn many more things than i did last yr although i've been through it. being the few sec3s in the grp, we had to take up leadership role at some point in time and i guess it was really fufilling for all of us. namely yilong! i've never seen him so enthu and i think he did a better job this yr than last yr. yupp. yongkang was great. we were kinda rude at times and although at certain point, he wasnt exactly happy. we pulled through.

i've learnt to learn from others and to employ the language of acceptances. because i feel that as hard as it is for you to change yourself or change a certain habit, it is as hard for you to change others. so we have to learn to accept them jst as they are (:

jst wanna say thanks to all the LINCOLN-ers and yongkang!
mr davis was great as well. he didnt act like he was a teacher or anything.
he played taitee with us and stuff.
and we get to see a different side of him (:

so yes. a big thank you to everyone that made this enjoyable.

today was a good day i must say!
did quite alot of things (:
woke up at 1030 and started studying at abt 11 ?
completed my english and geog assignments ! (:
just needa edit my film presentation and rehearse abit and im done with eng!
hahah. so yes. was doing/watching tv at the same time.

left hse at abt 230 to meet yilong and mr tok at toa payoh.
whahah. met up at abt 3 and experienced loads of lameness with stupid yilong arnd. haha!
spent like 3 hrs there studying chinese compo la.
O levels for chi coming! must buck up (:

so yepp. was studying at the macs.
wanted to meet at library but too crowded.
stupid laoshi!
damn funny la.

while waiting for mr tok to arrive, me and yilong were walking around the library..
than suddenly this MAN with a cap, ipod pluged into his ear, head down, carrying a deuter backpack wearing slippers ( like some terrorist carrying bomb in the bag like tt =P ) just walked passed us and sorta pushed yilong aside, he didnt even say sorry or anything but jst continued walking in front and me and yilong were both quite shocked lah. so we were staring at him walk, and suddenly, he turn back and guess who tis silly MAN was?
yes. MR TOK.

hahahaha. he looked so.. casual ? couldnt recognise him at first.
oh oh. and he was buying food for us at macs and he looks like a swimmer from the back la!
he and his silly da vinci cap.
he wouldnt take it off cus he said he nv style his hair so take out alrdy not nice -.-
so lame right.
and he has freaking OVER TEN THOUSAND SONGS INSIDE HIS IPOD! thats 50+gb / 60gb used. wth.

oh wells. it was kinda fun lah.
although it was pure chi for all 3hrs.
he wont allow me to do other work. lol.

anw, enough about mr tok.
yilong was equally lame but i wont start cus i'll nv never finish (:
leaving for OBS tmr morning !

tis week has been pretty good i guess.

woke up at 730 for open waters.
turned out quite ok i must say.
although the water was absolutly DIGUSTING. bleagh.
u can see the oil on the surface and like. yucks.
we were like screaming while trying to get in bfore tat. hah.
but well, it was kinda fun.
dexter cycled all the way from home cus no one wanted to fetch him to east coast. hahahah. his silly bike gave us so much trouble.

anw after tat, we wanted to go cable skiing but the queue was super duper long !
so mylene dex clement and i went cycling.
ting cass and boon didnt join..
clement fell twice ! poor guy.

headed to csc.
dexters 9k bike gave us so much trouble.hah.
had a swim plus quick shower and lunch.

not bad !

went our seperate ways after tat.
i headed back to parkway for dinner.
