hello people (: im back from thailand! yay. haha. but im leaving again for brunei again on wed. oh wells. anyway, tis trip was pretty fun i guess. here goes..
first day of the trip was kinda slack i guess. we had alot of free time to do lots of things. however, there wasnt much for us to do. so me and steph [ my roomie ] went down to play pool with some of the guys. then we played cards and stuff. so yes.
the hotel is bad man. walao. but all the countries taking part in asean schools stayed at the same hotel so it was kinda fun for us also. oh ya. the bus ride to the stupid hotel was 2hrs in a really small bus. and we had to squeeze la. so hot somemore. lousy pok.
erm. the 2nd day i think we went to the pool to swim? or was it first day also? im not sure la. but we went there jst to see how the pool is lky.and when we got there, gosh. yucks man. it looks green from the top. and when i go in. visibility is lky wad. less den a meter? its really bad la. all of us hated the pool [duh rite]
erm. tats mainly wad we did i guess? not sure. hahah.
erm. we started comp i guess? i had 400fr on the first day. first event. swam heats in the morning. did really badly, 8 sec off my pb. did a 4.47. hahaha.super slow la. but i managed to get into finals. had better water feelings in the aft. managed to do 4.40 (: got 4th. wasnt too bad i guess. lost to the 3rd by 1.3. quite alot la huh? but she's 17 ok.. hmph.
den er,2nd day i had 800fr and 200fr!!! back to back! wth. i was really scared before that la. anyway, i was pretty pleased with my 800fr although i was 10s off my pb. but i got 2nd =D i lost to the same gal i lost in the 400fr. hahaha. oh wells. if i did pb i would have gotten first. but tats an IF. who cares la. got medal can liao la. well. my 200fr after tat was a killer la. i did 2.15 in the heats.. not bad la. i only managed to warm down 200m ar? siao la. haha. anyway, afternoon's final only had 200fr. did 2.16. really lousy. but who cares la. no more event liao (:
well, tats all abt my swims. spore got 2nd in this meet. thailand won. but tao li got the best performance gal. she had 4 records!! and 5 golds and 1 bronze. 4 individual gold, 1 relay gold [IM] 1 relay bronze [free]
daniel bego had the best performance guy.
singapore gals was the best performing gals team.
singapore had a total of 8/9 golds? not too sure.
ben's 100m.200m brst - 2 golds
tao li's 100m,200m fly and back - 4 golds
sandy's 100brst - 1 gold
gals medly relay team - 1 gold
thats 8 gold. yup. not bad huh. considering tat alot of good swimmers pulled out.
oh yes! the best part of the meet. the funniest one too. steph's bday!!! hahaha. it was damn cool la. russell bought 2 cakes. one big one small. well. the small one was meant to be squash into steph's face. (: her face was lky full of cream. hahaha. then they started throwing bits of cake arnd in our room. -.- den. after awhile... when we tot all was well..they came in with a bigger cake tat was meant to be eaten. budden. i think tao li came up with the idea of wanting to push steph's face into the cake. and well. they did it.and there was the big fight!!! cake flying everywhere. on the bed. on the carpet. everywhere. corridor also. hahahaha. damn funny la. in the end out room became super messy la. hahaha.
oh yes. another funny thing was our performance. LOL. we sang 'dui mian the nu hai kan guo lai' hahahah. wei chen and tao li were the two 'main singers' but in the end only wei chen sang la. hahahah. damn funny la. halfway through there was a black out so we had to start again and stuff. lol. aiya. too much to write. it was jst super funny. hahahah.
alamak. tis post is super long. better cut short. 2nd last day all of us left for bangkok for shopping except for the 5 boys who are going for asum youth in bangkok. they're leaving tmr. (31th) so they left earlier. the hotel we stayed in bangkok was a budget hotel so it was really terrible. lucky only one night. anyway, we were given 7 1/2 hr to shop. hahaha. bought quite a few shirts and a skirt -.- great. haha. we all spent alot la. on food and clothing. so yes.. um. thats abt all i guess. wont go into the the funny stuffs. no time la. must sleep soon. still must go trng tmr morning. haha. oh wells. tis was a really fun trip despite all the bad facilities.
oh yes. the only bad thing abt tis trip is tat i lost my phone!! argggg. i put it in my bag before leaving for the pool and when i got back to the hotel at night it was gone! damn it la. either it dropped out of my bag or it got stolen. how sad. lucky i brought the older one. but its still quite new k! 6230. argggg. damn it.
